hello!

Hello all! I hope everyone is doing well!! Life as you can imagine has been crazy...but I'm taking it one day at a time. Mr. Nicholas is a very demanding baby, he is very active and alert for a 7 week year old. He doesn't like to be down for any length of time. He eats every 2 hours and that is from the beginning of a feeding so that leaves very little time to do anything. But he is happy and healthy..growing like a weed. Last week I finally was able to capture some smiles on camera and he is sitting so well in his little bumbo chair. As for me, I had my 6 week post partum check up last week and everything looks good. My doctor did think it best to put me on zoloft for post partum depression so hopefully I will be back to my old self soon. I probably should have sought help sooner, but thought all the emotions and everything I was feeling was normal hormonal stuff...so all you preggo mommies if you're reading, do some research and be on the look out for symptoms after delivery. Well, I'll end here for now...I'm being summoned! :-)  Take care!

He is so precious! He looks so grown already - like he has no care in the world at only 7 weeks. Very alert. I am thrilled for you.  Hoping things look up for you very soon and start to calm down for you. Talk to you soon!

Hi April,         Nicholas is so cute!!!!!!!!!!  Glad things are getting better for ya. Hey I bought my DIL a bottle that looked like a boob (really) said it was the best thing ever she could pump her milk and someone else could feed them when she could,nt. Just a thought.     Sue W

April, The baby is so cute!  I can't wait to see you again.  Glad to hear from you, for sure!  I am glad that you got some medicine for your blues.  There is no shame in getting some help when we need it most.  Those hormones can really get out of whack!  i dont know about pregnancy hormones, but how I can relate to just plain hormones! lol Its so good to hear from you...  take care of yourself and little Nicholas!  Love ya girl!

Ohhhh he is too adorable and that smile is infectious!  It almost makes me want to have kids... almost LOL

Hey April,  Nicholas is just plain ADORABLE!!!!  I'm sure he is keeping you busy.  When I found out on Monday that I had dilated some, the reality of it all sorta hit me!  I thought, what the heck am I doing!  lol  Little late for that, huh?  lol    Since I'm already an emotional person and have been very hormonal/emotional during this pregnancy, the PPD is something I'm very concerned about.  I told Rick to pay close attention to me.  When depressed I have a tendency to shut down and turn inwards to myself.  I made him promise not to let me do that.  Between already being emotional and not really having the family support system here in TN, I'm well aware of the possibilty.  I'm glad you got some help from your doctor before it got to be too overwhelming.  Women need to share this type of post partum info, so others know they are not alone and it is not something to try to "get through" on your own.   Wish you could be here Saturday, would love to see you and the baby, but I certainly understand.  I'll be in the same boat real soon and Misty will be joining in a short while.   Take care and give that gorgeous boy lots of smooches!   ~~Elena

Hey April!! We have missed you lady ! Nicholas is so very cute and handsome. I am sure he keeps you very busy. I do hope you are taking care of yourself.

What a cute little guy. He looks so happy. My son was 4 months before I could get a decent picture of him. lol My daughter was grinning from birth. I'm glad that your dr. was able to treat you for PPD and hope you feel like yourself real soon.

Hi April,   Good to see you.....  Nicholas is just adorable....  what a cutie.....Just love the pictures....  Thank you for sharing....Glad to hear that you are doing well....physically and emotionally you will be too.  It is a lot to take on and everyone completely understands.... 

  This is my baby....  Well he has turned 18 now.....  Makes me tear up all over again to look at his baby pictures....  But he is soon heading to college.  I am very proud of him and I am gonna need to have my meds re checked so I can get back to my old self when he goes.....  LOL!!!!
