Almost time to get this ride startedl!

Well, it's less than 19 hours til I hit the table for my surgery. I want to thank you folks for being here and sharing your insight, knowledge and experiences with me and the other pre-ops. It has been a tremendous help, as well as a comfort and inspiration.   You folks offer hope and encouragement to others who choose to follow you on this journey in an attempt to find a healthier, happier, more active and more fufilling life.  

To each and every one of you, I offer my sincere thanks. You're  are a great bunch!

Now . . . move over and make room - another Bob is heading for the LOSER'S bench!! 

Are you making the trip tonight or early in the morning??   And we will all be glad to move over to make room for another Bob on the Loser's Bench.  I've only been on it a couple weeks now, but it is a wonderful place, full of friends and compassion. Save trip!  I'll be thinking about you tomorrow as I go for my first post-op visit to the doctor's office. Sherry

Thanks Sherry! We're heading out about 7:30 a.m. tomorrow morning. My surgery is at 1:00 - gotta be there before 11:00 a.m.  It's a 2 hour drive from my house.

I'll move down the bench I'm just glad Jane will be between us. Not into holding your hand! BwaHahaha

Tell me about it! I'd much rather sit next to any of the lovely gals on here than an old hard-ankle like you!!  BwaHahahahaha!!

All right, you're on your way to being normal. Wait a minute, their not doing surgery on your brain!   Here's to a safe surgery, a speedy recovery, and a cute nurse who gives sponge baths!  We'll see you on the other side!
