Am I Doing This?
Hi, I'm new on OH.
I am just beginning the process (met with the insurance specialist and went to a seminar). Luckily they seem to think my insurance will be no problem. I like Dr. Spaw (and more importantly so does my PCP whom I think the world of). Still trying to decide between Lap-Band and Roux-en-Y.
I figured I better introduce myself because I have 14,037,987 questions and as soon as my head stops spinning and I can think clearly I will start asking them.
Welcome! My best advise having been recently approved myself is to know what your insurance requirements are and just get started. It took me a year and 3 months to get through all the requirements and when I started I was overwhelmed and never thought the day would come when I got approval. But, it did. The folks here gave me great advise on jumping through the hoops of insurance and they were so right. If you do what they want, they should not hassle you. Or, that was my experience any way. Last year I was where you are now. But, just throw those questions out there because I can assure you these folks are full of knowledge and are people at all different stages. Good luck!
Welcome Blush!
What a name, I love it!! I think the title of your post is a question that we all have asked ourselves before! Am I doing this? Yes you are! Will I regret this? Absolutely not!! Congratulation on the decision to take control of your life. It;s one of the best decisions that I have ever made. If you have questions, jump right in. If you have answers, we will listen. And most of all, if you just want to hang out, the more the merrier!
Welcome!
Welcome, welcome, welcome to the TN forum.
Ask all the questions you want, someone here is sure to have had an experience to draw from and give you an answer or advice.
I think we find here that we all learn from each other's questions and experiences.
