I've been diligently working on finding a photo to post on here.  I have one and got it cropped, but it's "more than 20,000 bytes" and I don't know how to make it less.  Any suggestions, please?

Jane,  There are a couple of ways you can do this.  One is to go to the link below, and follow these directions: http://www.shrinkpictures.com/ You will want to use the resize option. 1) Choose the image you want to resize from your computer 2) Select New Maximum Image dimension (100 pixels) 3) Skip step 3 4) Set resized image quality (select best, if this creates a picture that is still to large, play around with the compression) 5) Click on the resize button If that does not work, you may also send it to me at: [email protected] I will resize it using the program I use, and then send it back to you!  This way you can have a picture before your upcoming surgery!  I will be home this weekend and can do it for you.

Looking good Jane!  Hang in there girl, your tickets about to be punched!   And thanks for the recommendation for a raise!  Let's see, a 25% increase would make my salary...$0.00 per hour.  Not bad!!!   I will say this though, the perks and fringe benefits of hanging with you people are beyond anything money can provide!!!!!!  My mantra when I was a manager was this... "A pat on the back doesn't pay the bills, but it sure makes you feel good about what your doing!"  Keep that praise coming!

Thanks for the nice compliment!  Thanks for thinking of me with all you have going on!  But that's what makes you YOU, isn't it?  You and Susan were the first two people I met when this began, and I'll never forget how kind and helpful and inclusive you both were to me.  My cell phone number is 615-305-6578, and someone waiting with me will have it all day tomorrow, so please call anytime and check on me.  My brother is Don, his wife is Bettye, and my aunt is Rene.  Rene will stay with me the whole time in the hospital, by the way.  So, it's right down to the wire now, and I've never been so ready for anything in my life.  All of you on this board know the struggle...need I say more?  I appreciate the support you all give me so very much!!  I am ready to walk and sip and be healthy!!  You all have taught me well!  I feel sad for those who haven't connected to this fab support group!Jane O
