Nashville's Walk From Obesity Meeting

Hi Shelia, I'm wondering if you can give me some information on the Walk: 1.  How long is the walk 2.  Do you have to raise a certain about of money in order to participate 3.  When is the Walk Thanks Barbara

First, let me say thanks for your interest in the walk, we would love for you and possibly family and friends to join us!! 1) The walk is a 1,2,3 mile walk, your choice.   2) No, you do not have to raise a certain amount of money, however the registration fee is $25.00 and we do ask that people try to raise  $100.00 toward the cause of obesity.  If you need to register, let me know and I will help you sign up!!  It is so early, you would be surprised how much you can raise between now and then. 3) The walk is being held at Centennial Park on September 20, 2008 @ 10:00, you will enjoy it a lot.  We have a lot in the works for this year to make it a great walk!! Good Morning Sheila,  Thanks for answering my questions so quickly.  I was already to sign up until I saw the date.  I have a meeting that weekend that I can't get out of.  It has been on the books for a year!  I so wanted to participate iin this event.  I had already told my family about it and some of them had promised to walk with me.  I'm really bummed that I won't be able to join all of you in this event.  I'm hoping to have my surgery sometime in July and thought this walk would be a great thing to do to celebrate the beginning of my new life.
