I just got a call from Dr. Houston's office that I'm approved! I got a little choked up when they told me. I am soooo very excited and happy. It's been a long road to get here and I couldn't have done it without this board. You all have prepared me so well and cheered me on. Thank you! I go for the consult with Dr. Houston on 4/21. I'll be sure to let you know when I have a date set. Anyone have any pointers or advice about the consultation?

Congrats !!! Just have any questions you may have ready for the consult and be sure you understand everything they tell you. I know you are thrilled. I remember when I got my call that I was approved. I was on cloud nine. So very happy for you !!!!!

Congrats to you! I would suggest that you write down any questuions or concerns you have so you can have them to ask the Dr. at the consult. I had about 18 questions I wrote down. After discussing them with Dr. Richards, I felt a lot better and more informed about my choice.

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As everyone else stated write down your question and maybe have someone go with you. That way when you get home the answers might run together where one might remember something the other didn't. As far as BamaBob's 18 questions you have to consider the source! They were probable: Doc will it hurt, are sure it won't hurt, not even a little, will it hurt, are sure etc. et****il he was asked to leave.
