A little concern???
Ok, I try not to freak if I don't lose weight. But, I didn't lose any weight last week, and I am worrying. I have lost a total of 58 pounds in 14 weeks since surgery. I think it should be more. I have a goal to lose 145 pounds since surgery. I am happy that I have lost the 58 pounds, but I am worried that it should be more. I have about 87 more pounds to lose, I think. I am worried that I am coming up on 4 months on the 21st and I haven't lost half of the weight that I wanted to lose since surgery (I had already lost over 20 pounds before surgery).
I am using Fitday everyday to track my calories. I am averaging 697 calories a day and 53 grams of protein a day. I am getting in 64 oz of water, crystal lite, tea, and /or K20 water almost everyday. I am riding the exercise bike 30 minutes a day 6 days a week and doing 1 hour of water aerobics 2x per week. I have added a little bit of weight training to my upper arms, about 30 minutes a week. I know that I am losing inches because the sizes of my clothes are getting smaller, but I WANT TO LOSE THE WEIGHT!!! Is my metabolism just so slow, or do I need to work more, or what??? I know I am neurotic, you don't have to tell me that!! LOL. I think that is my real middle name.

Hey Dear,
Everyone loses at different rates, so do not beat yourself up about this. I would suggest that you up your protein to around 80 grams, 53 is not enough protein, if you up your protein and maybe reduce your calories some, you may find that you will jump start your weight loss again!!! You are doing great on everything else!! You will lose it, so don't freak out too much, you are doing great!!!

Mayilyn,
At about 14 to 16 weeks the scale did not budge!! I kept telling my husband that I will be the only person that the surgery only worked for 3 months and that was it!
I kept doing what I was suppose to be doing and after about 3 weeks it started dropping off again at a very quick rate.
Hang in there and keep doing what your doctor and nut have instructed you to do and soon the scales will reflect your hard work!
HUGS!!
