Parker update

FYI....Phil and I are still around. Phil got his wound vac yesterday, so now he has a fanny pack for his IV meds and a shoulder bag for the wound vac. He will have all of this for at least 2 more weeks. It is so hard to get him and all this stuff to and from everywhere. It was real fun the past two days with the rain. We are going to the doctor at least every other day and then the nurse comes out every day. But we are doing what we have to do. As far as me......well I'm better, still not sleeping real good, my legs have started swelling again, but what I am taking in is staying down, so that is a plus. I go back to the doctor on Monday, so I am sure I will get a fussin at. I haven't been posting much, mainly because there wasn't much of a change, and with my attitude, figured it might be best, now a days it seem's things come out the wrong way. Looking forward to the Lunch Bunch on the 12th.........OOOPPPS I hope I just didn't ginks (sp) it. The last couple of times, something has always happen, so keep your fingers crossed for us this time. I hope everyone is having a great weekend and I will hopefully start posting more as things improve for us. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers,concerns,calls,post,visits, and cards. Cheryl, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you, your dh or anyone on this board yet but I just want to give you a big cyber (((HUG))). I will continue to pray for your family.

Cheryl - Continuing to keep you and Phil in my prayers.  I can't begin to imagine how difficult this has been on both of you, but things are going to turn the corner and you will both be back to your old selves again.  Hang in there girl, you've come entirely too far to turn back now.  Hugs to you and Phil and we will see you on the 12th.

Thank positive girl, I know that it will turn out alright, and things will get better. Maybe, we can get things back to normal.  I can't wait to get everyone back together. Hi Cheryl,   Sounds like things are starting to move in a more positive direction....  Thank you for keeping us updated on you and Phil....... 

  I was gonna say..... don't post that you will be at the dinner or lunch.....  LOL...  I know the last 2 or 3 times you did that either you or Phil took a detour to the hospital instead....  Don't post that you are going....  Just show up......  LOL....
