Lost a good one
Just found out that a friend of mine from back in my high school days passed away on March 8. He was only 50 and was a big ol boy - 6'3" and close to or maybe over 400 lbs. He was at the gym, trying to lose weight and get in better shape for his daughter's upcoming wedding in May.
He had been walking/jogging and doing light weight lifting for about a month. He was also one of the truly nicest guys and caring man you could ever meet. He would, and has, given money and other things to people he really did not even know when they were down on their luck, or their family needed food, clothes, or shelter or whatever. He bought who knows how many bags of groceries, pairs of shoes and clothing for kids and families. Yep, the world lost a truly good, decent, Christian man on March 8, 2008.
Rest in peace, Jeff.

Bob, Thank you for sharing with us. I know how difficult it is to lose someone you are close to. Hang in there my friend, it will get better. Thanks to for knowing you can post something like this on this site and receive comfort from your friends. You and Jeff's family are in my prayers as they go through the motions in the days ahead of them.
