Boxing Gloves Are On
So, I get a call from Centennial yesterday saying BCBS wants "more information on diet for the last 6 months". Now, I think Centennial and I are both confused because they were provided information for the 6 month doctor supervised diet I was on last year. So, I'm like... do they literally want more information for the last 6 months or the 6 month doctor supervised diet. I don't know, seems like stall tactic to me. And, they say if I don't provide it in 45 days they'll assume I do not want to continue. Ha! They don't know me! They'll have it by the end of the week. That's my project when I get home from work. So yeah, there's my update. However, the silver lining is that at least BCBS is quick. They just got it last Thursday. So, they are on the ball. I'll give them that.
Gees. Insurance companies SUCK! ok, enough of my rant. I do think they intentionally stall and ask for extra things because they assume you will give up and not pursue it. Keep with it. The only positive thing is they didn't say No. So, that is at least good that they are asking for something so maybe they will approve it quickly once they get it. Good luck!
