Post-op day #1
I am up and moving this morning, just soreness around the incisions. Not any real Pain. I sipped on water all night, Of course I had to run the bathroom freqently because of all the IV fluids they gave me yesterday.
I a protein shake for breakfast (slowly) and am working on my first bottle (20oz) of water now. Plan on getting in the shower and riding to the auto parts place with my husband, then back home to move, sip, move, sip......you get the picture.
Thanks to everyone for the sweet prayers, thoughts and wishes of a quick recovery.

Bob I was beginning to wonder the same thing. I figured if they were picking up some parts, there might be a few that I might be able to use... Actually, maybe lots!!!! It's our little secret.......oops..I said that out loud, didn't I???

Thanks to everyone again. Bob, my husband's need for auto parts is just a head light for his truck. It ended up not going, but will tomorrow.
I am moving better with each hour. The water and protein going in without problems right now. I think all the sipping today adds up to about 30-40 oz of water, I've had cup of broth x2 and ready for popsicle now. Then more protein shake for dinner. I also made some "jello shooter" with unflavor protein powder....they are actually good.
