Feeling Blah...

I've been feeling so depressed lately.  I'm not sure if it's all the crap that's happened with me this month or cold weather.  I've been sick this month, and I was in a wreck last week.  I'm also still having trouble with my anxiety attacks. Add on top of that, PMS, bloating, women troubles...blah, blah, blah.  Not liking how I look in clothes, bad hair days...Anyone else go through these low periods? How do you cope with it? I know someone is going to say exercise, so I'll probably have to eat my own words seeing as how I've used this piece of advice before.   Also, I've had trouble sleeping.  Are there any remedies or over the counter meds that can work.  I've used Tylenol PM before and it doesn't seem to work anymore.

It sounds like life is kind of chaotic.  In the past, we could eat our way out of the blahs...now we have to find other ways out of the blahs... I don't know but maybe just talking about might help.   As for the hair, clothes, etc...that''s just the blahs speaking...and the other stuff, yuck...that stinks.  But it will not last.

Thanks, Pam.  I'm between sizes, and some xls fit, other larges fit, and on good days, mediums fit.  I have no clue what size to get in stores!  Have you been to the Y lately? or have I just not seen you (which is highly possible, b/c you're probably tiny now!).

I'm actually going to another Y  closer to home when I go...which needs to be more often. I t's been a few months since I saw you so I'd venture that I might be a little smaller but I've still a ways to go....definitely not tiny, littler but not tiny.  Maybe I'll see you at the Baptist Support Group in April?

One of my sisters-in-law just told me about an herbal tea that she uses when Tylenol PM stops working for her. She has fibromyalgia and sleeping issues are part of the symptoms. She says after a while the Tylenol PM will quit working and she will drink this tea for 2 or 3 nights and it seems to "reset" her body's reaction to the Tylenol so that it works again. The tea is Rooibos (ROY-boss) and I got it at World Market. The brand they carry is The Republic of Tea and is in a blue canister. It is called "get some zzz's". I have tried it a couple of evenings when I was having trouble getting to sleep and it worked. It has a slight minty/citrusy flavor that is quite pleasant. I do add Splenda to taste. Thirty six tea bags were $9.99.

This sounds good.  I'll try to pick some up.  Of couse, if I kick the boyfriend out of the bed, that would work too.
