WOW Moment and more...

I am currently in Georgia visiting with my sister and her family.  When I walked in the door last night, my 9 year old nephew came running to give me a hug.  He stopped about 3 feet from me and said "Whoa!!", then looked at his mom.  Then he said "Aunt Marilyn, how much weight have you lost?".  When I told him, he said "You have lost a Jake!" Jake is his 7 year old brother!  It was wonderful! Also, went shopping with my sister today...and I bought a LARGE!  I haven't been able to do that since before my son was born!  Of course, they were stretchy, but still... Marilyn

Some of the best "WOW" moment are when others notice, especially children, they don't hold back anything.  Congrats on you Large.......they will only go smaller from here. Sherry

One of the greatest joys for me thus far have been when I've gone to purchase new clothes and have been able to purchase something smaller than what I thought I was going to purchase.  Or to have something in the closet that was too small and by the time you tried it on again to see if you could wear it, it was too big. Keep up the good work.

Hey Girl! Two great wow moments for sure!  Isn't buying smaller things just the best!  That's one of the reasons that I love to shop now...of course, I always liked shopping...oh well, it's lots and lots more fun now!!!  I just love seeing those tiny numbers on my labels!  Early on, when I got into a smaller size, I wouldn't purchase anything but that size...if an item didn't fit me in a 4 then I didn't buy it...now logically, I KNOW that different brands run different but I didn't care!  I have eased up a bit on that now but not much!!!! Tell Melody hi for me! C

I've had a 13 pound gain in the last year and a half... but I'm
working hard to lose it again!

Good for you!  I know the feeling, just this weekend I bought 2 pair of jeans, 42 inch waist.  When I tried them on, they were too big.  Now I'm in a 40 inch waist.  When I went to put on shorts uesterday, they were all too big!  So I'm a searchin for clothes once again!

Gotta love those kids.  So now no matter what anyone else says, you just remember that you have lost a Jake and you are continuing to lose.  Who cares if that large stretches, its still a large.  YEHAW and congratulations. darlene
