I am home from the hospital....my surgery went well.  Thanks to all your support and well wishes.  I am a bit out of it but not hurting as bad as I thought.   Doing the sip, sip, sip, walk , walk, walk thing.  I have another day of liquids then on to mushy foods.  Today I am not hungry at all...but my mouth is dry...so I have had  water, a sf popsicle and now am going to attempt some boullion.    My biggest problem so far is keeping my furbabies (mini dachshunds) off my abdomen.   I will keep you posted as I go forward.   I don' post alot but do read most of your posts and my thoughts are always with you guys.  I can't wait to meet you all next  lunch or dinner.  I do go to the Baptist Lapband group...if you attend please say hi to me.    Becky

I am sooo glad everything went well for you!!  And I completely understand because I have a dachshund too and they're so affectionate.  Mine didn't understand why she couldn't lay on mommy like she normally does.  But after a few days, it will be okay.  Let me know if you need anything! :)

Way to go Becky!  Sorry I have not gotten to this any sooner, but here goes!   May your Losers Bench be a place of comfort after a long day of walking.  May it be a place of rest while sipping on your favorite protein shake.  Most important of all, may it be splinter free! Congrats on the surgery, and if you ever need anything, please let us know! Scott
