food too dry to get down

I am on purreed food and it won't go down, I have always drank with my meals due to esphigus.  Now if I eat it is too dry. I can drink protein now but food won't go down.  help.....thanks

Try adding some broth, milk, or some kind of liquid (other than water) to your puree. You may need it to be just a bit thinner to help you get it down. It should be the consistancy of a milkshake. The example I was given was that you could suck it up a straw if you were using one. But then, we know better than to use straws don't we. LOL
