Update on my son

First let me say... won't be at lunch bunch. Sorry! Second... D went and competed in the Night Fox Challenege and won a full ride to Marion Military Institute. I am so proud. he also won a medal but I am not for sure what it was for because I was too busy crying. He did not have much chat time as he had to go meet with instructors after he found out but I was his first call! When he finishes his two years there he will come out a commissioned officer, 2nd Luitenant... if that is how it is spelled... Yay! I am soooo excited! Thank you all for th prayers for his success!

Congradulations!! That is awesome news. My husband also said congrats! He is an Army recruiter so naturally he was excited about your news. Im sure you are a proud mom as you should be, its always good when our kids get a good break. Be Proud! Hugs

Thanks! I am soooo proud of him. This is the kid that everyone made fun of but who is laughing now? He is pretty darn excited himself! He was so tired because they were up for pt at 3 am... :) but he is home now. He got a medal with his team... Alpha... apparently they were the top team on everything. Oh, and in the paintball war... D hit 8 of the 13 on the other team.

That is an honor, did you get to pin the 2nd lue on him?  Brian's mom when he made 1 Lue in National Guard his ma got to pin his bar on him, they took pictures and his still has them, It meant alot to him and her.....
