Is anyone aware of any support meetings held at the Trover Clinic in Hopkinsville, Kentucky?

I am pretty sure the do. I am just not sure of the days and times. Here is the person you can call because she is in charge of them. Amy Lawrence at 931-431-3542. Also they do have support groups on post at BACH. They are 2 times a month with the next one being 17 March at 6 pm in classroom 1, main floor.

That sounded a little incendiary. There's absolutuely nothing wrong with Sandra. I actually attended the last session. My issue is with finding a sitter for my sons. If I found a meeting in Hopkinsville then they  would be able to stay at daycare while I'm at the meeting.

Not trying to make you angry, just a question. However, you can bring your children to the meetings I just think she is fabulous and has a lot to offer and you would be a great disservice to you if you miss out on them.

While Sandra is great, I didn't feel completely comfortable there. Mostly because it wasn't a general support group. It was geared more towards the people that had surgery on post. Unlike me I was done off post.

I think that if it was more geared towards the surgery in general I would have felt more comfortable and not so out of place. With gas prices it would be so much cheaper for me to stay on post for my support groups then driving across town.

I am so sorry that you were not comfortable, I will pass this suggestion along to Sandra and maybe that is something that can change for you. Though I am not in KY/TN at this moment I do keep in touch with her, so I will pass along your concern and maybe it will be something that can work for all. We are doing a cookbook and thats General you can be part of that we all just give our favorite recipes and I am going to compile them into a cook book to assist all it will be the stage 1-3 and then the maintenance portion so when people have their surgery they are not asking for a variety of things they will have multiple selections, I know when I got home I was like hummm what shall I eat chicken Broth? or Beef Broth? nobody knows there are more out there. So Please do not feel like a stranger and be a part of our sassy little Group. Kay?
