IDGOMB 3/11/08

Since I took yesterday off, I hit the gym hard today. 45 minutes on the eliptical, 45 minutes of weights mostly legs today. Then I went shopping, window shopping mostly. Walked around for about 3 hours.

I walked a mile in 15 1/2 minutes outside today.....it was so pretty when the sun came out, but still a bit cool.  So I finished my walking by going to the store and walking more there. 

My driver got me to the Nashville Va Medical Center an hour early, so I walked all around the hospital, even went to different floors and walked.  Then after my appointment with pulmonary clinic, I  had to wait on my driver, so I walked more inside and outside.  Now I need to work on packing more boxes and get things in the van to take to the shed.  I only have a week left to move out. My son is coming over in the morning to help get things moved as much as possible. Between his car and my van, we'll be able to get more done then just using my van.  Then I get my service dog in the afternoon.  She will be going with me where ever I go from now on.  I know having to take her out to potty, I'll be getting in a lot of walking.  Plus bending to scoop up her piles. Not looking forward to that part.  But it comes with the territory.  

When I got home from work yesterday and today, we went for a walk with the dog.  Our walk lasted longer today as it wasn't quite as cool for me.  I enjoyed getting out in the WONDERFUL sunshine!  We're about to go shopping now.. just to get out of the house... do some more walking...  enjoy the weather...
