Looking for answers on PS, also anyone from Nashville
HA I was/am looking for people that have had or are getting PS in Nashville Tn. Anyone out there?
Also, wanting to hear or read post on Breast Lift with Implants, TT, and or Lipo.
Questions:I have had three surgeries, LB, Gallbladder, and sleeve...So I have several scars on the upper portion of my stomach and stretch marks just up above the belly button. Would a TT be able to pull all these down at least to bikini area? Or is the top portion of your stomach to far up? I have "sagging" skin but still have a lot of fat in my belly. I have been reading about Liposculpture and Liposuction. Have you ever heard of the first? Its different technique. Check this out: http://www.dralanbittner.com/comparison.asp. Is this common? I don't see a lot of website that say "Liposculpture". And last but not least with the breast...I know some doctors wont do a lift and implant at the same time? How common is this? There are so many options out there now, so just makes it more harder to choice what is right for me. First question, for a more natural "feel" is under the muscle better? Or is this a personal opinion answer? How much longer does it take to heal under the muscle? I have a toddler I will need to take care of and he weighs 30pds maybe a little less. Have you guys heard of the "adjustable" implants? I have read about them but don't know of anyone that has one. You have to pay for doctor consultations which I would find it hard to pay three doctors to find one that I like best...how did you finally decide on who you would go to...I have at least 12 near me that I found on loveyourlook.com. There are at least 22 Board Certified in Nashville...so the only way I know to choice is to see if any of these doctors are recommended...and I guess this is one place to search...do you know of any other way to search for doctor recommendations? THANK YOU SO MUCH for your time and help!

Hello. I had plastic surgery. I had the tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) with muscle repair. Dr. Michael Hueneke did mine. You can see my profile for pics.
My roommate had Dr. Donald Griffin. He has had to go back for some revision work and I think this is because Dr. Griffin is very cautious and conservative in his approach.
Susan had a hernia surgery, belt lipectomy and cut down the center of her tummy. She can tell you about these, her doctor was Lois Wagstrom.
I am going Apr 9th for a breast augmentation consult from Dr. Hueneke. I am still not sure whether I want to get implants. I had a reduction a few years ago, before wls. I don't need a lift. Just implants. Its like the air was let out both my tires! lol
I havent heard of the procedures you are talking about... well I did hear the word before, but don't know what it is. Yes the tummy tuck will surely pull down all that skin and make you flat. I am so flat down there! I could not see my private parts before surgery. When I took the bandages off, I almost nearly cried. Hey, I had forgotten what it looked like down there! haha
I had LBL with anchor cut and mons reduction. Also had hernia repair at the same time.
I had scars from lap gallbladder and Lap RNY. I now have one remaining scar that was high on the right, outer side of my chest that is now at waist level about 1 inch to the right of the middle of my midriff. I had severe stretch marks from about 3 inches above my waist and wrapping around both hips. I still have some of the stretch marks on my lower hip and only a few remaining in front from below my waist in the middle and below the bikini line beneath the incision. Even with the anchor incision (this is the incision up the middle of my midriff) I could wear a bikini now. I am only 4 1/2 weeks post plastics and that incision is already very fine.
The best place to get answers is from a plastic surgeon. They will be able to tell you what can and cannot be removed during surgery. Quite often we have fat attached to the extra skin that no amount of dieting is going to get rid of. This residual fat is removed with the skin during plastics. I know that my surgeon removed 10 lbs of skin and residual fat during my procedure.
I am still swollen from surgery but have gone from a size 6/8 pre-plastics to a comfortable size 4 now. I still can't tolerate anything snug on my incisions at this point. My incisions run completely around my body at the bikini line and from between my breasts all the way down. Kind of like an inverted "t" in front.
Many surgeons will give you a free consult. Most will charge a $75 consultation fee. One major thing you want to keep in mind is that you want a PS with experience operating on formerly MO people. We have issues that other people don't have. It is also very helpful if your surgeon has experience dealing with post-WLS patients. Again, we have issues and needs other patients don't have.
Good luck finding the surgeon who is right for you.

Hi sweet Susan.... I have missed you....
I think you are absolutley right about visiting a surgeoen that has experience with MO people. I am not sure that I got the best advice when I went for my PS visitation. It was a huge step for me to go to that consult appointment. I am a needle phobic so to get through the wls was a huge mild stone within itself... then to almost sign myself up for more abuse for cosmetic reasons all most put me over the edge...
I love reading your inspiring post susan and it does challenge me to rethink my possibly bad first consult....
