Hi Joyce, This probably wont make you feel any better.. as a matter of fact I am sure that it won't make you feel any better.... but this is very common...    Don't be surprised if they want to go back in and take the gallbladder out.......   There again very common but no earth shattering news to make you feel better.... Do not under any cir****tances feel like you are taking steps back...  We just have to have a pact together that this happens and we will cross that bridge when we come to it..... I am going to tell you like I tell my daughter, yes a pity party is acceptable but you only get one day for that pity party.  After that we toughen up and do what it takes..... Which sometimes what it takes really sucks pond water...... love you hun,  we are here for you

Sorry your feeling bad Joyce. Never had them but no they are no picnic. Hope you get to feeling better. Hey its your party and you can cry if you want too.  It seems that hear lately I've been hearing more about stones is this indicative to WLS? I've not been told about this side effect. Thxs Bob

Whine away babycakes! I'll bring the cheese for your pity party. When that gallbladder goes sour there is no way around the pain. No doubt about it, it sucks big time!!! Hope your doc acts on this quickly.

I groaned and moaned about mine for 2 1/2 mos.  No wait!  I STILL moan and groan about it.  What am I talking about?  And I am not joking.  I'm serious.  It was the worst thing I know of that has happened in my life in a long time.  Yes that pain even has to outweigh the kidney stone!  no lie And, I remember the gallbladder one FAR worse than the kidney stone, which was just a little over a month ago!  So the kidney stone thing is recent.  You take all the time in the world to have yourself a pitty party.  I might sit down and join.

Can I come join your party??  I've been having the pain since about 3 weeks after surgery.  Went to PCP today and I'm having an ultrasound next wed to check my gallbladder.  I also go back to surgeon next friday so I'm going to talk to him about it also.  Hang in there!! It's tough, I know, but hopefully your dr will get you straightened out!!
