Submitted to insurance!!!!
Whoo Hoo!! Now we start praying for a quick approval for Wendy!!
Phooey on the endo. Some docs are just dead set against the surgery. It may cost them a patient because the health issues they treat will be resolved by the surgery.
I know you are ready to get this show on the road.

Wendy, I am curious to know why your Endocrine MD doesn't want his patients to have this surgery? My Pcp commented to me after my 10% weight loss "you've done so well, why would you consider having surgery instead of continuing what you are doing?" I informed her that this was a tool to use over the rest of my life to aid in the weight loss efforts. I find that doctors who show/speak resistance to WLS are under-informed or mis-informed and are afraid to say so.
Keep up the good work!!! We will get approval and you can walk into that endocrine MD office someday without diabetes, having lost all your weight and SHOW THEM how successful you are!!!
I'll do the same with my PCP!!!!

I am so surprised in a way that your Endo does not support this decision, because there has been so much out just lately about WLS and diabetes!! Well, you will just have to show him once you have your surgery and simply how wonderful your diabetes will be then!!! Good luck on your approval, hop you harrass them every day until they say APPROVED!!
