Home From Hospital
I'm glad it wasn't a kidney stone...been there, done that...a few times.
I don't know what vitamin you are using. I used Adult Centrum chewables at first. These aren't as hard or "vitamin" smelling/tasting as Flintstones. Just how do they expect little kids to chew these rocks?
I sure hope this is your last episode. Hopefully the change in medication will take care of things.

Shelia,
Thanks, I appreciate your concern. I was in so much pain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, I was doing good just to be able to answer the doctor's questions. Then all I wanted to do on Wednesday and Thursday was sleep. Sally Mae (that is what I am calling my "pouch") is still quite sore and sensitive. I feel as if I am starting all over again and here I am right at 8 weeks out. What a bummer, but it will get better and I'll be back on track real soon. My husband laughs when I get up and walk. Because of the soreness, I kind of walk all hunkered up, but as I said, it will all be good soon. Thanks again.
It's good to see you on here. I have missed all of you and especially you. Hope you are doing well. I won't be able to be at next weeks Lunch because I am going to be taking mom to see Camelot at TPAC, so it will be a whole month before I get to see anyone. Keep in touch. Take care and be careful in the snow today.
Thanks Melinda. I think I'm going to have to schedule some time with you and Susan to get me more educated on getting this protein in. I really am having a problem with it and I also need to know about the other things to eat now that I'm of pureed "yuck". If I remember correctly, you 2 are the most "veteran" of the group that are closest to me, so I will definitely be getting in touch with you all to help me along with my "new life".
