Raymond Compton

OK so I lucked out and found a surgeon very close by.  I read his reviews but they are very old.  Has anyone here had surgery with Raymond Compton.  He was in Johnson City but is now in Paris.  I plan on calling tomorrow b/c so far I only see that he does lapband and RNY. Thanks everybody!!

I've never heard of him. But then, I'm in Middle TN. I do know that Dr. Spaw at Baptist Metabolic Surgery Center in Nashville does the VSG.

Hi again,   I have never heard anyone mention him. I use to talk to a girl from Paris but, she went to Nashville. I feel like she would have used him if he had done several. Beware. I know several on here have used Dr. Virginia Weaver at Memphis. She is probably closes to you. That is who I will see if I decide to go on. Best of luck, Ellen

Hi Ellen!  I decided to go ahead and take a road trip.  I found a Doctor in Michigan.  I went to the MI board and went throuhg all the members and messaged everyone who used him for VSG.  I read hi sreviews and I havent found anything bad about him.  He is $11,000.  I took out a loan and I have a date of May 8th!  YAY!

   Boy, you got on the ball. I don't really know much about theVSG. Will you have to make several trips to Michigan. I couldn't do that. Hope all goes well. Keep me informed.    Ellen

Haha!  I sure did!  I called yesterday afternoon.  I had to hurry to insure that I could get a spot during break from school.  No I will make only one trip.  I will got a day early to have labs, tests, and consult with the nutritionist then the surgery the next day.  We'll stay at a nearby hotel.  You should check out the VSG board too.  I checked on several options and have been researching for about a year before I decided on teh VSG.
