vein surgery one down... one to go

Don't remember if I mentioned it to you all, or if things have just been so hectic that I haven't mentioned it, but I had vericose vein surgery today on my left leg and tomorrow on my right leg... for my Baptist support group friends, that is why I wasn't there this evening... This afternoon was better than this evening... we just wrestled on the support hose for the left leg... OH MY that wasn't fun...so pray for me cuz tomorrow I gotta get them on BOTH legs....

Well, if you told us I don't remember, but hey I don't remember alot these days........lol. So are you in the hospital until all this is done or is it a out patient kinda thing? Hope you do well with both and keep us posted on your progress. Will you be able to join us Sat @ Logan's for the Lunch Bunch? If not we will understand, but will miss you. Glad your OK, but doesn't that put a crimp in you "Dancing with the stars" lessons?  Just tell your dance partners that the support hose is a new dancing fashion accessory!

:-)  Don't think I can make Logan's this Saturday....Dancing lessons were Monday this week and the Doctor said maybe if I feel up to it some "waltzing" slowly on Friday would be ok, however, it said it would hurt, but not a "bad" hurt... whatever that means...I am trying to take it easy...it is difficult to do so....but will be forced to after the second leg is done.... eehhh...

YEEEOWCH!!!!!!!!!!!! That doesn't sound fun at all. Take it easy sweetie.  We did wonder where you were but you have a very good excuse. You were missed!

Second leg is done.... I look like chester from gunsmoke at least when I walk.  LOL  I can already tell a difference, there is not the burning and itching that the veins were doing before...just the pain from where they made the cuts....so, hopefully besides making them not hurt they will also look better.  ;-)
