I've Been Submitted, Finally
Hey, just thought I'd share the good news! I went for my nutritional assessment yesterday and found that I have lost more weight which we all know is a good thing, especially before surgery. I may have a better chance of possibly losing more weight and getting to my goal or below. The Dietician has set a goal weight of 190 pounds for me and that's great, I
weighed that much when I was in the 6th grade many, many, many years ago.
I was SHOCKED to see that I have lost a total of 43 pounds with the pre-op dieting that I am still doing. I just don't want to be a failure at this and I am determined to make it work, so I have sacrificed a lot of things but I want a life, a good life,a healthier life, and most of all I want a longer lifespan. I'm overly excited because I've got that good, strange feeling. Not to mention before I left the house how my heart was in my throat fluttering around like a couple of butterflies. So, all wish me the best and I shall be on my way!

Thank you! I worked hard and am still working to try to maintain my weight because I don't want to look like a bad candidate so I figured if I lose another 7 pounds before surgery I will be good to go and at a weight that I have not been at in so many years. You are probably like I was last year, a little anxious but it will come. Be patient and hang in there! Have you completed all of the pre-op requirements?!
