Interview Update

Hey everybody! I just wanted to thank all of you for your well wishes and prayers. I truly believe I could feel your presence with me this morning. It was so strong that I teared up for a minute as I drove and then I just felt so much joy. I know that may sound wierd. So... I bet you want to know how it went... Excellent. I could not picture it goind any better... well the only thing better would to have a definate yes on the next step but she all but guaranteed me an interview in the next phase. I want to say when I left I felt like I made a new friend. We connected very well and she feels the same about why she does what she does as why I want to so it felt good. She was a petite lady but never once did I feel that she cared the one bit about my size. She just saw me... and she was not so focused on what I lacked but more on what I offer. The best part was when she asked if I could see myself in the position and I got what I wanted a chance to sell me. And I did... she then told me she also saw me in the position and she agreed that she felt I would be great at it! Today was an amazing day! She is hiring 2-3 people so that is better odds. My next interview would be with the President and she said I should know by the end of next week. It will not happen overnight. There was just something about this school... this staff. She did not make me feel like I should feel lucky she gave me a chance... which I do feel so blessed but more that they were fortunate that I was interested in them. It felt good. She also was very impressed with the fact that I am braving online classes. It is really hard and not for everyone I agree. Anyways, now I am rambling... I have to say if blessed to become a part of this group I will definately be honored because Kathy is a fabulous person and truly someone I could look up to and learn so much from. I could truly see myself later in life following in her footsteps. Oh, and Bob... you were right and I honestly feel I could sell this school... I truly do. Again, I am thankful beyond words!

How GREAT!!  How could she not be impressed with you I hardly know you and you impressed me from the start.  Bask in this incredible feeling. You deserve it. C' Ya

This sounds like the type of interview everyone dreams of having.  Congrats on such an awesome day.  I will continue to keep you in my prayers and you continue on with that wonderful outlook you have.  If it is meant to be, God will be sure to have all the doors open for you.  Keep us posted. That is so great! I have been worried about you...this good news is wonderful! I hope you get the job and will be praying that you do!!!

Thanks Betsy! Yea I am pretty excited and just hope this week goes fast and that she calls. I feel that she will. I just have to convince the President of the school that I am the right person after that and I will be a bit more nervous then.
