Glad you are feeling better. Sounds pretty scary! I would not have thought of that and I don't have the surgery but I know that I take mine when I sit down for breakfast and take my pill then eat. Hope your dat goes better.

Thanks and best of luck for your interview.  My daughter has a friend that is a recruiter over there.  Her name is Melissa - as far as I know she still works there.  From what I know, she really enjoys the job, but as I said, I don't know if she is still there or not.  If she is, she has been there about 1 year.

Awesome! Well maybe she is but thanks for letting me know that she likes it. I am sure I would love it too. I am very excited!

I usually take my meds in the morning. I wait until I am up about a hour or so. My vitamins I split in half and in half again, that is what works for me, but I am a lapbander not a RNY. The whole learning process is kinda scary, what worked for us once may not work anymore. Sorry to hear about your yucky day and glad you are better. Cheryl

Thanks Cheryl.  Doing better, but for some reason the vitamin made me sick again yesterday.  I just got off the phone with the nutritionist and she thinks they are hitting my pouch and dissolving too quickly causing my pouch to become irritated.  She said if I could tolerate them without cutting them up then that would be the better way to go.  Otherwise, she suggested I start experimenting to see if I can find a chewable one I can tolerate.  Since I thought the same thing she thought, I decided to try a whole vitamin this morning and I didn't have any problems.  So, I will try this method for a few days and see if everything evens out. Hope things are getting better for you and Phil.  You know, I truly believe God never puts more on us than we can handle and I have to tell you, it seemed like last year, I was experiencing one trying event after another - I had a cousin brutally murdered in his own yard, my mother's twin sister underwent surgery in the middle of July and has been in a vegatative state ever since, my mother underwent surgery in August and we almost lost her, my father passed away very unexpectedly in September (just 6 days after my mother came home from hospital), exactly 4 weeks later, my dad's oldest brother died, and then 6 weeks later, my dad's 2nd oldest living brother was diagnosed with colon cancer.  My father did everything for my mother and with her bad health, she really needed quite a bit of care in the early days. The point I'm getting at is this, in spite of all I was dealing with and having to do (including working and maintaining 2 households), I put my faith in God and told Him He knew what He was doing even if I didn't and I trusted Him to see me through to the other side as a stronger person with a deeper faith.  And, that is what has happened.  On days when I thought I would lose it, I just opened my bible to Jeremiah 29:11-14.  Those have been the most comforting verses to me for a very long time and I know God is faithful and fulfills what He states.  I also keep Philippians 3:12-21 very close to me as well. Hang in there my wonderful new friend - you know, as I do, as long as you put it in God's hands, He will see you through whatever troubles you are experiencing.  If you ever need to talk or need someone to pray with you, please PM me and I'll be right there for you. Much love being sent your way today and always!

You know I question my decision to have this surgery sometimes too. I've had some blue moments lately. I've had a hard time with my vitamins too but I haven't vomited but it hurts to take them. I talked to my nut. on Thurs. and we agreed on my taking liquid vitamins for now because I have to take so much meds.

I have to check out the Herb & Vitamin store in Clarksville because I ordered my liquid vitamins, I forgot to check with them first. I love that store.
