I Have A Wound Infection

I have been having an odor coming from my left wound site and lots of gunk was coming out. I had to go to my local PCP yesterday to get it irrigated and get antbiotics. I go to the dr. tomorrow but Dr. Dyer won't be in. I will see one of his partners instead. I really hurt on my left side, otherwise I feel fine.

You will be in good hands with either one of the other docs at CMC. I hope you heal up quickly and the antibiotics work well for you. Keep us updated.

I saw Dr. Olsen today and he was very nice. He had to open up the wound a little more and pack it. My hubby is not thrilled about the packing part but I feel better today.
