Well it's true I gained 3 lbs. I am so upset with myself, I know that it is the lymphodemia in my legs that is the cause. They didn't fuss too much, they gave me a adjustment and told me to try to get back on track. The cancer doctor went ok so far, done my normal 6 mo. check up/exam he said all seemed fine, but will know for sure in about a week when the results come in.

Found out today that my employer is not going to continue my LTD and I am in danger of losing my Insurance. Also, today we got a phone call from KY and Phil's cousin (which was like a brother to him) had passed away. So we are leaving for KY sometime Friday and be back sometime Sunday. I am soooo stressed out it is unreal, I feel like I take 2 steps forward then fall back 6. Just when we think things are looking up, they go the other way. I know that the Lord will not give you more than you can handle, but I am for sure being tested I feel like. I just wanted to ask once again for your thoughts and prayers for us during this time. Phil is doing better, but he is going to have wisdom teeth pulled in the morning. The rest of this week is going to be rough for us.  I will post when we return. I hope everyone is staying warm and dry, hope you all have a good time Friday night. Thanks in advance, Cheryl

I am very sorry for your husband's loss. I am sure you were frustrated with the gain but keep your head up. It happens unfortunately. Lymphodema is no fun for sure. Mind comes and goes but has been alot better since I have been off work. Drive safe...

i Cheryl, you and your husband are in my prayers as you travel this weekend. As for the 3 lbs of fluid, I would rather have that then the 20 lbs of fluids I put on. I've lost 8 lbs but I keep forgetting to take my water pills. Since I sleep more during the day as I tire easily from the chemo, maybe I should take them at night since I am up.   Be safe, and remember God is with you and your late friends family. love

Cheryl,

I just wanted to say one thing.  OK you gained 3 lbs you have now owned it, stop beating yourself up for it and just move on.  We can only take one day at a time and that is all you can do.  Wake up every morning and say I am gonna do it right today.  I will say a little prayer that your stress level gets better.

With all you've had going on, and the swelling you are dealing with, 3 lbs is not bad at all. Hopefully things will calm down and you will be back on track. I know you can do this! I am so sorry for your loss. Travel safely.
