OT - Possibly relocating to Chattanooga Area

Thank you for the locations.  We'll keep that in mind.  Wish us luck (if this is what is supposed to happen).  Uprooting our lives is kind of scary but exciting at the same time.  :)  Thank you!

Well….most of the time I love Chattanooga….grew up outside there and now live in a great North Chattanooga area. A Hixson or Red Bank area would be a good choice because of the kids.   I would suggest looking at schools as soon as you find out about the job. I don’t know much about Red Bank schools but farther out in Hixson towards Soddy Daisy there are some good elementary schools. Most areas offer parks for playing with the family. Downtown is the Riverwalk which now goes almost to Hixson.  There are also fun things for adults.  Good luck and let us know about the move.

I know Signal Mountain have freinds with kids that live there. Has good schools fro the most part and will be getting a High School soon. I'm not sure of the home prices maybe a little pricey. For me I wouldn't want to deal with that Mnt. every morning inorder to get to work.....but thats me.

Good point.  I haven't been there...Just saw some information online.  We'll see what happens.  He is on his way up there right now.  :)  He is so funny...I think he gave himself like 4 hours to get there.  I have no idea what he will do for an hour or so.  According to Mapquest, it should take a little over 3 hours from our house.  So, I guess he did o.k.  :)  With Atlanta traffic, you just never know!  It is CRAZY!!!!
