IDGOMB
Wow Bob,
Talking about taking the bull by the horns. Lol... I can't actually take full credit for that one... My sweet precious one "Barb" applied that saying to a pep talk we were all having with each other. LOL...
I absolutely love the IDGOMB acronym..... that is great, I mean, go figure.. I am easily amused. I had to go ask my 17 year old son (my baby by the way) that has been accepted to Texas A & M Galveston Fall 2008 on an Academic scholarship to major in Marine Biology what BVD was? Talk about embarrassed. But I digress...
Hi Trina, Long time no see. A & M, my all time favorite school. The marine program is awesome. I had a friend from college who did the Master's program down there. I am truely jealous! IDGOMB love it! Does standing for hours on end teaching count? Walking the halls, chasing down kids (tardy sweeps) bathroom duty? If so, then I do this everyday! I'm not walking at all after school, to cold still, but will start up again when it warms up. Hope to see you at the next lunch bunch, missed you this month. BTW, are you a school councelor? What do you do? (me being nosey again!!! LOL)
Beth
Hi Ms. Beth:
Yes, long time no see.... I love how you injected the A & M maroon school colors in your text.... Yes my sweetness you are a true Aggie fan you are indeed.... LOL I could definitely read the code... LOL There is no cure for you........
We have understood that the A & M Marine program is by far superior... He has also applied and was accepted to University of Hawaii at Manoa and University of Miami. However, A & M Galveston has a proven record of 90% job placement upon graduation, also a proven record that employers' come to A & M for their graduates as opposed to the graduate beating the pavement after graduation and most of their professors have grants and projects available so that the student can do internship and virtually never have to leave the campus for outside employment.. Okay so as a Mom you know what this means to us....
Okay, so "yes" the hall chasing does count towards your cardio count each day.. However, I do have to draw the line with bathroom duty.....
Sorry I missed the last lunch bunch.... I was so bummed..... Got sick with the crud that everyone is passing around that I had to have my share at the wrong time. I was so looking forward to Scott's tutorials.... Guess I will have to stay computer graphics challenged until next time, or bribe my cherished Melinda for her notes....I think I will pay her in SF chocolate......
School Counselor??? OMG.... there is no way in the world that I could possibly be qualified for that job. And, there is no way in the world that I could be qualified as an educator as yourself or my dear friend Tawnya..... I do believe there is a special place in heaven for Teacher's..... Just imagine, when you arrive there in that special place there will be extra goodies for Teacher's. It takes a special gift from God to be an educator and I was absent on the day those talents were being handed out.
