Need a house to rent!
Anybody know of any houses that might be for rent in the Knoxville Area? We found out today that we will be moving there no later than March 17th. Was hoping my dh would get an extention to stay here in GA until our son finished school but as usual the Army said no way we've gotta go sooooooo here we go having to pull my son out of school
just to put him in another school just for a few months, I hate that for him but thats the life of the Military.
I dont know anything about the area, dh will be recruiting in Oak Ridge so I need something not to far away (surrounding areas) but in a good neighborhood. Every one of you were so nice in welcoming me to TN, Im excited about moving now that Ive already made friends. Thank you all in advance.

Whoa...not much time to prepare...
I do not know of a house to rent but would encourage you guys to look in the Anderson County (Oak Ridge) or West Knoxville areas...those areas are easy access to Oak Ridge. West Knoxville is were all the retail growth is located. Anderson County has areas that are rural or city and lake areas to the other extreme of all concrete.
The schools in Anderson County and West Knoxville are good schools too.
Try the local news paper web sites- The Knoxville News Sentinel (www.knoxnews.com)or the Oak Ridger (www.oakridger.com).
Good Luck!

Thank you so much for such a warm welcome. I cannot put into words how you TN ladies and Gents have made me feel. Such a great group of people. Im excited about moving there and a little scared as well, I know that is natural being I have no clue what the area is going to be like. I know everybody had sent me information on certain areas but it is still unknown to me lol guess the best way to learn it will be to go explore it. My dh and I have been thinking about taking a trip there next weekend just to check out the area, maybe that will be a good thing.
Again thanks for the warm welcome and I really cant wait to meet all of you.
