First post-op check up.
I had my follow up appt. with Dr. Spaw yesterday. (Lap-band) I had lost 15lbs since surgery on Feb. 5. That makes 42 since my journey began. My insurance made me lose 10%, but I am proud that they did. I worked hard for this so it made it sweeter. I was surprised to find that this last 15lbs was a result of following the recommended meal plan, and I didn't have any restriction yet. I will go back and get my first fill in 2 weeks. Isn't funny how much our heads have to do with this whole process. I was still feeling sore and afraid to sleep on my left side too much, but as soon as Dr. Spaw said I was doing fine i WAS doing fine. I would recommend him to anyone.
Green grass and high tides forever.
Congrats Jennifer, that is wonderful news. You go girl!!!
