Sorry I didn't really answer your question. I haven't had a fill yet, but i am satisfied eating 3/4 cup high protein meals every 4 hours and have averaged a lb. a day.

Hi, I haven't been on the TN forum for a while, but I had Dr. Spaw for my surgery as well.   I actually have a copy of the post op diet sheet for band that they gave me.   Do you have a fax machine?   Or I could scan it and send it in email.  Whichever you'd like Dennie

Again, thank you all for your warm welcomes.   I am looking forward to meeting all of you.  Who would have thought that my wls decision would turn out to be social. I can use some new friends being from Maine and all.   I will be attending the next  meeting at Dr. Spaw's office.   A few people invited me to the next Lunch Bunch...but I am declining since I will be doing the liquid thing at that time.    I think you all answered my question.  Sounds like the regular eating plan is just about the same for both surgery types.    Take care, Becky

Hi Becky and welcome to the TN Board.  I had Lap Band at Centennial, so I don't know if their plan is the same or if it would be a little different from Baptist.  It's like some of the others have said every time we get a fill we have to go back on the liquid stages.  I get hiccups when I've eaten to much and need to stop eating.  You do know when you get full.  Good luck with everything and if you need any help just holler. Hugs, Tammy P
