DISALLOWED

Oh well Bob, we are all human and make mistakes, but at least you figured out what the problem was quickly and maybe it will go thru with speed now.  BCBS is a dirty phrase at my house and I hope you do keep fighting, I hate that two or three folks who aren't even medically trained can make a life or death determination. I will say a little prayer that it will zoom on thru now. darlene

Bob,   Don't worry, we were DISALLOWED together today.  I received word from the insurance specialist at MSC today that I was DISALLOWED as well.  They think I needed more paperwork---evidently they only sent in the last 4 years of my medical records....I had asked them to send them ALL.   I have had the same PCP for 10 years.    One would think that-----oh, well, we are trying again.    I'll say a prayer for you and myself that the approval comes soon, Sherry

I feel your pain.  I was rejected/denied/disallowed twice.  The first time I didn't get upset but the second time made me cry for 3 days.  After that I dried my fat little tears and fought back. Never give up! Freddie

Bob,          I think a lot of us here have been through the DISALLOWED stage of this process and I agree it is not fun not FUN at ALL.  Now that you know what the problem is and you have corrected it, maybe things will be overturned soon!!  Keep up your chin and keep on fighting!! Bob, That really sucks!!!  I told Ron about it and that is what he said as well.  Then, when I told him about the typo, he said "Sounds like something I would do".  I can't believe BC/BS.  Obviously they were just searching for a reason to disallow.  Ron's insurance (BC/BS) and mine (Cariten) have an ironclad exclusion written.  I had to private pay.  It is expensive, so I will just have to drive the same car for 5 more years!
