Lunch Bunch, March 8th

I've spoken with a couple of people about options for the March luncheon. Since the Dinner Club is going to be at Ghengis Grill this month, I am going with the other request.  We'll meet at Logan's at Rivergate at 1pm. I will contact the manager about setting us up in the garage so we will be able to have our big table all together. Mark your calendars now for the second Saturday of March at 1pm. I am so looking forward to seeing everyone.

I'll be there unless I have to work.  This will be my first time attending.  Can't wait to meet everybody in person.  I feel like I know so many of you just from reading your posts.  I do know Susan and Sheila and Tawnya so at least I won't be going in blind.  Hope to see you then. Melissa

G**O**L**L**Y    I LOOOOOOVE A GOOD STEAK!!!!!!!!   I told Scott the other day I wanted a small piece of steak, now I can get one!   YEAH!!   Susan, you have made my day!  I was actually thinking of pm'ing you to ask about lunch bunch but got busy with something else.  I LOVE OUR BIG (NUMBERS WISE) GROUP!!

OK I am happy.  I love Genghi's Grill.  Can't wait to get together for the evening lunch bunch.  I like Logan's too.  I also like Rivergate! I guess i like it all. Beth, the best steak I have found is the Flo's Filet at Longhorn.  I have not tolerated or even wanted stea****il last week.  Tim has given me small bites here and there, but the Flo's Filet makes my  mouth water thinking about it.  We should meet at Longhorn sometime.  The one at Rivergate has a party room, I think.  Maybe a few of us could meet for casual supper sometime. Or you can come meet us each and every Weds. after work or on Sat evenings at the Brentwood Longhorns! lol.  We go every Weds. & Sat.  NO joking! thanks Susie Q.  I was wondering what and when!

Amen to Flo's Filet at Longhorn...and Victoria's Filet at Outback. The first steak I had post-op was a filet mignon served at the President's dinner this past August. This means I was more than 18 months post-op before I had steak. I was scared to death about whether I would be able to handle it. I had my exit scoped out in case I needed to excuse myself in a hurry. That steak was so-o-o-o tender and delicious!! I only ate a couple of ounces of it but I thoroughly enjoyed each and every tiny bite. I also enjoyed a few bites of the wonderful salad as well as a bite or two of potato, asparagus and even carrot cake.

Hey Guys, As much as I would love to be there on the 8th, it is just not going to work out this month.  I am totally slammed at work and will probably be putting in some hours in my cube at work and then I will be spending the rest of the day with my mom (that is her birthday).  Hopefully, by the April lunch I will be in better shape at work and will be able to be there.  I'm still not sure about next Friday night.  If I can be there I will, if not, I will see all of you at the end of March.
