Sorry I haven't been online...question...

I just wanted to say that I'm sorry I haven't been online in a while.  I've been battling anxiety attacks for the past 3 weeks and my shrinkette has put me on klonopin...which I used to be on BS (before surgery).  Back then, the medication didn't do a whole lot just relieved my anxiety attacks.  Now the medication for it seems to be effecting me much more...I'm pretty much drugged and comatosed.  Does anyone else take this medication? If so, how does it effect them after surgery? Could it be that my body now is more sensitive to the klonopin? Thanks!  -Alyssa

Hi Alyssa. I am sorry to hear about your attacks. I do not take that medicine but was going to ask if it is an extended release capsule? I have heard that the extended release ones do not work proerly for us and you may be taking in too much. If it isn't, than I guess I would only assume that you are much more sensitive to it now but I do not know for sure. Maybe it just takes time to get used to it. If it continues to do that to you, ask for a different prescription. Good luck. I hope you get to feeling better soon!

Hey Misty,  No. It's not an extended release.  I just wonder if my new body, pouch is much more sensitive to the medication.  To make things worse, the anxiety is effecting my depression.  Yippee. Oh, well.  Time can only tell.  -Alyssa
