Congrats to all approved or had surgery

I have been here lately but not "really here".  I've been so busy with my own website lately...  but I have been noticing several who got approved, and others who just had surgery.  I wanted to say it all at once...  congratulations!  I know how difficult it is to get approval as I was denied and was forced to fight for my approval.  It really shows you how bad you want this surgery...  !  If the wind gets let out of your sails, and you feel so hopeless when they deny you, then you wanted it pretty bad...  and then you are willing and determined to GO FOR IT until they approve you... calling them every single day if you have to, showing them how serious you really are...  or working on losing that 10% body weight...  or going through the grueling psych evals...  So to those who have made it this far, congratulations are in order...  hats off to you, and you will soon be a loser!  For those such as Think Pink, you have just begun the journey of your life...  some days will be hard...  trying to get in your protein, liquids, fighting head hunger, going through the psychological changes which at times are difficult...  fighting the urge to eat...  not because you are hungry but because of habit and the head hunger that calls your name...  then there are other days  which are so glorious!  You will be getting into sizes that are smaller, smaller, smaller, and it feels just incredible...  its not a bad or good journey...  its both...  which makes it all the more special... part of what makes it so worth it are the struggles...  for without them, we wouldn't truly be able to enjoy our victories...  So congratulations to you...  And welcome all of you to the loser's bench.

Thank you!!  I am excited and can't wait until I've healed from surgery and things become somewhat routine and normal.  I am ready for all of the changes that are in store for me and excited to begin this new chapter of my life. :)

Thank you. I don't have an appetite right now but I'm trying to get in all of my liquids. I came home from the hospital yesterday.
