Fill #3

I went in for fill #3 on Wednesday. This was to be the third time to try for fill #3. When I woke up that morning it was snowing and in Nashville anytime there are flurries the city seems to shut down. I was somewhat discouraged and thinking maybe they would cancel but I got up and began to get ready to start my day. I made into the center around 9:00 for my 9:15 appointment. Spoke my pleasantries with everyone in the office since they are all very special people to me. I sat down and waited my turn to go get "naked". I think my clothes weigh roughly 5 lbs and I really wish I could weigh at the office without them on, but then again that would not be a very nice thing to do to those around me. Finally Holly, who by the way was looking rather stunning in her new outfit today, called me to go weigh. To my astonishment instead of gaining weight or being stalled I had lost a few more pounds. This number was a total SHOCK. After spending a few minutes chatting with Holly, she left me in a room to wait for Dr Houston. After spending a some time chatting about how things were going with Dr H, we pretty much decided I was ready for Fill 3. He is a straight shooter and I appreciate that in my surgeon. He also praises me for my accomplishments over the last 5 1/2 months. I left his office and went over to "Registration Hell" and waited and waited and waited. One of the girls finally calls my name (40 minutesafter arriving) and it happens to be the one *****gistered me for fill 2. She remembered me and within 5 minutes I was on my way to get fill #3. What a pleasant surprise. She ROCKS. Dr Houston had very little difficulty doing fill 3 and we decided we would try #4 in the office next time. I was quickly on my way back to my office to do a little work. It was important to be busy today since I was back on liquids for a couple of days. I hope everyone is doing well. I want to say how thankful I am to each of you. I have been totally swamped at the office the past 10 days or so. I continue to lurk and read all about you. I post when I can. I saw you at the Walk from Obesity meeting but we didn't really get to meet.  Maybe we can chat next time.  I was the one who was tardy.  Anyway...all that to say that you looked great!!!
