2 month's since surgery !

Well, I survived the dreaded Banana Split Cake and learned a lot about myself in return!  I never realized how much food played in my life.  Especially the memories that surround it.  I believe part of the problem I had the last few days was the anticipation of what was coming and how I was going to handle it.  I have gotten a nice card for the woman who made it, simply because it was the thought that counts!   So, yesterday was my 2 month surgervesary and I am pleased!  I did not make it to my Sweet Hearts Challenge goal, but I am blessed.  I have lost 105 pounds since Feb. of last year, and 46 pounds since surgery!  YEAH!!!  I am at 257 lbs, the lowest I have been since 8th grade, thats 36 years ago!  My energy level is through the roof and climbing.  Yes, Superman is back!!!! I actually did training last night at Home Depot, and will start on Monday, and I feel pretty good! A Big Thanks goes to everyone here on the TN Board!  Without your support, compassion, guidance, and concern...I would not be the man I am becoming!  Love you guys!

What a guy, absolutely wonderful, you've worked so hard, and even turned down so many goodies. But you are now seeing the rewards !!!!! This is worth the weight in gold. Congrats to you and your family for getting your life back. Valentine's Day

Lookin' good! Congrats on getting past that cake. I've had it before, pre-op, and it would be pretty hard to pass up. I don't think it would be worth dumping over though.

My thoughts exactly!  I've had one bad dumping episode.  It was the sf peanut butter cookies that Beth was making before surgery.  One day I decided to make them and it got the best of me.  Guess what...I don't want to do that again!

Scott:

Congratulations, my brother!  I know how hard it is to get past the Banana Split Cakes of the world!  You are such a special guy in my eyes because you share your trials and tribulations in such an honest and straight forward manner.  You inspire me!

I am so happy that God blessed my life by giving me friends like you and Beth!

Kisses to you little face!
