Unusual WOW moment

Good morning all! I posted this on the Yahoo! board but I wanted to share it here too. Like many people, I went out to find my car covered in ice and the doors frozen shut. After about ten minutes of trying, I was finally able to get one door open - unfortunately it was a back door. Since I was already late for work I threw caution to the wind, climbed into the back seat and proceeded to crawl across the console and into the driver’s seat! Granted, I drive a Ford Explorer, but at six-one it’s still a challenge. After my successful mission I sat there thinking, "Here I am at 40 climbing around the car the way I did when I was five. There is no way I would have even attempted that a year ago!" I laughed all the way to work!   What a way to celebrate my 11-month Surgiversary! Life is so good!

Congratulations!  And welcome to the TN board!  Have not seen you here.   We are a great bunch of folks.  You really need to join us for lunch or dinner sometime!!  We meet the last Friday of the month for dinner and the second Saturday of the month for lunch.  We would love to get to know you.  A lot of people here have had Dr Houston or Dr Hottie as he is sometimes called! LOL.  Welcome. Beth

Congrats on not getting stuck. I would have. I haven't had my surgery yet.  I know you deserve that big ole pat on the back. And a That A GIRL to go with it.  We too have an Explorer, but there would be no way I climb anywhere. Definately not something that I should try anytime soon. I hate to have to call someone to get me out between the seats. Great Job. MySpace GraphicsMySpace Graphics hugs Barb

Ain't it great?! I think the best WOW moments are the ones that make us chuckle. Congrats on being able to fit between the seats and manage to get your skinny, 40 year old, 6'1" self into the driver's seat!

Hey Joe!! Long time no see/hear from. We are going to have to get you for that one. I know you do the Yahoo board but you are going to have to keep us updated too! . Congrats on your weight loss. Wow - you are doing so good. I am really happy for you.  OMG - I can remember before i had surgery, someone parked to close to my car door and I couldn't  get in and I couldn't crawl through my car so I had to go inside my job and get someone else who was really thin to get in on the other side and crawl through. I guess if I had to now, I probably could do it. Although, I am ok with not trying! I never thought about that until you just brought it up. Memories memories. Just goes to show you never know when you will have a WOW moment and under what cir****tances.  Hope all is good with you.

What a hoot!  Isn't it wonderful to know that you can do this kind of stuff!!!  Too bad it isn't on film.
