GOING CRAZY OR WHAT?

Alright, I may be opening myself up for some grief here, but did any of you have weird dreams about your surgery beforehand?
I had a dream that I had to be fed through a tube in my stomach because I couldn't eat ANY food.   Another was that I had some complications and couldn't do anything ever again.  What the heck is that about?  Is this fairly common? Anyone else have similar experiences or am I just going nuts?

I know one thing for sure - I AM having the surgery no matter what. I'm looking forward to regaining my life. That's why I can't understand the goofy dreams the last couple of nights.
(Oh, and by the way - the shrink gave me my clearance.)

Bob - on this issue - you are competely normal. I had weird dreams about my surgery.  I am getting lower braces tomorrow and have had several dreams about that.  I am also facing the possibility of having my tonsils out and have had dreams about that. We tend to have dreams about stressors (good and bad)

Highest weight 297; lowest lapband wt 218; highest regain: 261; lapband removal/ VSG OR weight:240

Hey Bob,  I think it is pretty much normal to dream about it.  I remember dreaming about my surgery as well.  I think it is pretty much on our minds 24/7, its such a life changing expiernce. Mike

Bob.. I think its a normal thing.  In fact, last night at my support group meeting, we had a few pre-ops that asked a lot of questions and I even showed them my scars, and I dreamed last night I had my JP drain back in.. weird I know. Rob
