Appeal

Hey there! Well Amy at Dr Morton's office called me earlier and she said she will send in my appeal tomorrow. She said all she can really do is resubmit the same stuff. The reason that my insurance denied me is because my bmi wasn't over 40 5 years ago. But it was 4 years ago!!!! I'm getting discouraged. I'm not even expecting the insurance company to approve my appeal. I might just have to wait another year before I can do anything. I just hope my health doesn't get any worse between now and then. Please pray. I'm scared. Thank you all.

Keep fighting it. Don't give up. It will happen in due time. Did you have any medical problems 5 years ago? Sometimes if you have a BMI over 35 but have two medical problems related to obesity (like high blood pressure, diabeties, sleep apnea..etc) that would still be considered. if you did, you can submit showing that. Hopefully, they will approve your appeal. If not, hang in there and go for it when you can. We are all here for you.

No didn't really start getting all my medical problems until about 3 years ago. Mostly in the past 2 years.
