I just called Cigna and was told they have NOTHING from Dr. Spaw's office regarding me!  Last Monday, 2.4.08, I was told by Ebony that my paperwork had been faxed to Cigna that day.  So, I'll begin the process of tracking it tomorrow. Since I've read about so many similar incidents on this website already, I am calm and peaceful and know that this can be worked out.  Thank you all for your encouragement and support! Jane O

Thank you and Bless you!  I am so impressed by the positive and encouraging posts on this website!  I too believe that this will happen!  I'll be on it so fast tomorrow morning they won't know what happpened.  I write down every telephone call with the person's name with whom I spoke along with the date and time.  Sounds like I've been in the "system" too long!!

I hated the waiting game!  It was almost, NOTICE I say ALMOST, as bad as losing the 10% overall body weight!  Hang in there!  Hopeflly it will happen soon!

In spite of this "little" glitch, you still have a positive attitude and that is what will get you through the "waiting game".  You are on the right track by calling tomorrow to follow up and see what is going on.  Hang in there and don't let this get you down, you will have your day and this will be a distant memory.

Jane you have such a great attitude, I could learn a lot from you. I get so frustrated by this whole insurance "NONSENSE". When I see time marching by and people seem to be showing up for work but not doing their job by faxing some paperwork??? Maybe this is some kind of warped test to see *****ally wants the surgery? Any how I guess I need to work on the patients thing. Bob

I have sorta developed the attitude/belief system that things are in perfect Divine order, just like they're supposed to be in the Universe.  So, every time there's a glitch, I try to make sure I have done everything I could possibly do, then "trust the process".  I say the "Serenity Prayer" a whole bunch of times during the day!! Thanks for the kind words.  My belief is that the paperwork WAS faxed to insurance, but someone hasn't put it into a file/database there.  From what everyone says, and from my own experience, the folks at Dr. Spaw's office are top notch, so we just have to find the "crack" that I fell into during the past week over at Cigna.   By the way, the filter on this site for profanity or inappropriate words is really fun to figure out! Please continue looking for an espresso machine my new friend, and let's take some deep breaths!!!  I just know this will happen for us and we'll be on our way to the great new life that we hear so much about.   I just love this website and the help it gives me!  Thanks to all of you!!  And now, I'm going to make my first call today! UPDATE:   Just spoke with Ebony who has spoken twice with the folks at Cigna to make sure my paperwork was in order.  Evidently I was talking to the wrong person yesterday since I'm having an in-patient procedure.  I truly believe that it will be all straightened out today, and the answer I want will arrive very soon! Thanks again for the encouraging words.  I continue to be impressed with the support and wisdom you are all willing to share on this site.  I pray that I will be able to pass that on when my day comes!
