Update

Hey guys, Sorry I haven't been on here hardly in the past couple weeks. Work has been crazy, we had one person just quit with no notice and another gave her notice. They brought someone in for me to train which has taken up alot of my time. Anyway, I got my denial letter and the surgeon's office is working on my appeal. Please pray. I REALLY need this. My health has done nothing but a downward spiral in the past 2 years. I'm scared for what is next. Thanks All!

Sorry to hear about your denial Laura. Please do not give up. I am sure they gave a reason why they denied you (lack of paperwork..etc) and hopefully your surgeons office is working on it. I think insurance companies deny because they think that people will just give up and most do. But don't. Keep fighting. Good luck!

I'm not giving up. I'll fight for this for as long as I need to. (Hopefully not long though )

Laura,   I am pre-surgery as well and turned in my paperwork last Thursday to Dr. Morton's office to process.  My question for you is what type of insurance do you have??   How long did it take them to give you an answer??  I'll pray for the appeal process to move quickly and that they reverse their decision. Sherry,     I have United Healthcare. They took their sweet time to give me an answer. It was about a month from the time Dr.Morton's office sent it in. I'm guessing it'll take that much longer for an answer on my appeal when it does get sent. But Amy at the office is a sweetie. She has taken care of me and calls me practically daily to let me know what is going on. I hope your answer comes soon. Laura
