2 Days Until My Surgery....

I am happy but also nervous and scared. I'ved lost 17 lbs. on my pre-op liquid diet. Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me. I have 2 teenagers and a wonderful hubby that are anxious as well. I will be having it at Centennial Women's Hospital with Dr. Dyer. Please remember me in your prayers.

Only two more days, I know you are so excited. I  can only advise to have plenty of liquids on hand at home like your broth's protein and such cause you will be very weak after surgery and not feel like doing much. Also you support system like your hubby, and kids are very important as well as us here on OH. I wish you the best on your surgery. Please keep us updated.

Please don't be scared you are in excelllent hands with Dr Dyer ...you will be right back in your safe comfortable bed before.you know it .Are you having any RNY or a Lap band ??? Hope you take some slip on slipprs so you don't have to bend dow  to put them on and you can walk the halls , the more you walk the better you wil feel..also  take a good lip balm with you .. I could not stand those hot  plastic  leg booties on my legs and kept rinigng the nurse to take them off so I could go to the bathroom  and walk the halls they finally just gave up and left them off as i was exercsing alott anyway  thru my walking There is a nice little nurses room right past the nurse station , same side ,there you can refill your ice water even make a cup of hot tea  they have diet sugar too..sometimes they may even have crystal light in there . Congratualions on your upcoming surgery!!!
