Missed yet another lunch bunch

  I hope everyone had a great time.  I was getting some sleep between my long weekend of working.  And it looks like next month I won't be able to make it either, as it's another work weekend.  I guess I'll have to see.  I sure do miss seeing everyone!   Everything is going well.  I've finally gained about five pounds and the little dude's growth is on track.  He's doing acrobatics and exercises all the time to make me feel extremely uncomfortable.  lol  I finally look pregnant (at least I think I do); everyone else says they can't believe I'm seven months along, that I don't even really look pregnant.  I guess it helps that I haven't put on a lot of weight and it's almost all in the belly.  I am already starting to waddle!!   Between feeling this weird "bloated" feeling and my groin ligaments stretching and hurting and my lower back acheing, it just naturally happens.  I'm also starting to have the breathless moments, as he's pressing into my diaphram at times.  I'm pretty much tired all the time and extremely hormonal/emotional.  Bless Rick for his patience with me!   I'm starting to get the nursery together.  My mom got us the crib and Rick put it together.  I need to order the dresser so I can put the clothes away.  Slowly, but surely, getting there.   Anyway, that's it for now.  Hope everyone is well and all of you with the different "cooties" start feeling better.  And hopefully I get to see everyone soon.  Maybe at the dinner at the end of the month.  Toddles!   

ACK!! You've only gained 5lbs!! Ick.... you are no longer my friend :-P j/k I guess I'll cut you some slack since you just had surgery back in May ;-) I didn't make it to the lunch either... I'm in my 9th month and just absolutely miserable! Hubby has even made the "wow, you look really rough" comments. Thankfully for him, I'm able to let those comments slide b/c I really do look and feel rough lol I'm having some water retention....especially in my panni. I didn't know you could retain water like that in a pile of hanging flab lol anyways....things will just get worse as you  get closer  to your due date. Maybe you'll be the exception to the rule though lol :-) Oh, for baby furniture  and stuff... you should check out www.craigslist.com I'm always  scoping out the baby and kids section. I'm  still looking for a high chair...he won't need one for several months so I still have time to find one. Anyways, take it easy and rest as much as you can!  Take care!

Hey April,   I weighed myself Wed morning and I've gained 6.5 pounds!  My ob said he would be fine with 10-15 total and my visit this last monday he said my body had still been shrinking while the baby's getting bigger.  Yeah, it's a blessing and a curse to get pregnant so soon post-op.  I'm not gaining a bunch of weight, but I'm loosing out on my "golden year".  Oh well.  Monday was my 27th week and the doc wants me back in three weeks.  That will be the 30th week and he will do a pelvic exam, then I'll go every two weeks.  He said the baby's growth was fine, but he'd do an ultrasound around the 36th week to make sure growth is on track.   I have a lot of water retention in my feet/ankles when I work (12-hr shifts are killing me).  I also found some retention in the boobage!!!  lol  I am spilling out of the darn bras, but I know the blasted things are just gonna get bigger and I don't want to buy new ones until I know what size I'm going to be when "full".  lol   I have checked out craigs list.  I keep an eye on stuff and keep looking for something that will work for me.  They always have a lot of clothes, but I don't need any right now.   Anyway, hope all is well with you and you don't have to have another painful "session" with your doc!  Nicholas be here before you know it!  Take care  ~~Elena

The Mommy Club was definately missed!!!  We had all kinds of delicious food to tempt our little pregnant sisters but none were in attendance.  Maybe next time.  Just know that you are loved even if we don't get to see you.  I'm ready to be Aunt Fred to all of the WLS babies.   Kisses to you both and to Missy too!
