:o two weeks till surgery Friday Feb. 22

WOW starting liquids Tuesday, and haven't told my family my date yet, They all think I am going to die.....well, I am very positive, but will let them know around the 21st, then I won't have to listen to them,  My daughter and son know and my friends.  Any suggestions on this last stage before surgery will be appriciated.  Thanks Joyce

Congratulations Joyce you will do fine. I know what you mean about your family. After I had surgery and I was sick because I was learning all the rules someone said "I knew you should not have had that surgery". But now they say WOW!! I will be in Johnson City on the 21st we are coming home for a few days. Good luck and keep us posted!!

Sugar free popcicles and diet jello will be your best friend. The chicken broth feels good all warm on an empty stomach, but it didn't  fill up the void for me like the cold stuff. Hang in there. I am 4 days past my lap band and am feeling so much better already.
