What a week!!!!

Thanks to all of you that responded to my last post!!!   I think I have died and gone to h*ll!  The people around me since I have been back at work are so freaking nuts...it has become a joke. Today alone I kept a tally of remarks that were sarcastic, rude unkind...etc...vs nice , pleasant,  normal, humane remarks...take a guess what the numbers were in just 1 day back at the office??? My guess...7.  I went back into the hospital today to work.  I have been working from home for 4 weeks.  Almost everyone was nice to me but my boss.  She was snide.  I'm not sure if she is jealous of the weight loss (she is overweight) or if it is because I have given my resignation.  But, I can tell that the next 4 days are not going to be fun! You don't deserve what they are do'n, who will they pick on when you leave, oh I forgot won't be your prob. I hate it for them But then they will deserve that!!!!!!!! I just get so angry, they need to realize what you have been through, and support you not knock you down. Don't they have any morals. Oh my goodness...you are gorgeous!!!   Don't let negative people have your power!!!  You have accomplished so much and you simply cannot let them get the upper hand.  When someone is ugly...why not put it right back on them by saying something like..."I'm sorry, did you mean to be so rude or did it just come out wrong?"  I do it all the time and it really sets the tone for what you are willing to take and what you will have no part of.  If you just can get all those words out, how about something like..."Sweeten up!" WOW! you are looking good!  I get the nasty, rude, derogatory comments all the time.  Unfortunately it's coming from just one person.  The way I handle it..."Kill 'em with kindness".  I know this is not very nice, but sometimes you have to kick a little butt.  My favorite comeback (especially when they are stuffing there face with cake) is, "So, what your doing is working...right?" Hang in there girl!  You'll be all right!

I told you you were gorgeous. Now you can see that everyone with any sense (i.e. - the ones on this board) agree with me. Have they displayed this attitude in the past when someone has had to be out for health reasons or is this something totally new. Just consider the caliber of people you are dealing with, dust off the old resume and find someplace that will appreciate you. You deserve better. Start documenting what is said, who says it as well as the people who hear it and their reactions.

BobYou know your a threat. You've always been the chubby girl who made themselves feel good (You know well I'm fat but I'm not that fat, crap).All of a sudden your taking control of your life in such a aggressive way, your looking great, your feeling great, you probably just glow in so many ways that it shines a light on thier issues. They can't look at you so now they have to look at themselves and thier not liking what they see. We (the large people of the world) are the last exceptable group that it's ok for people to be prejudice to without any ramifiactions. I'm already catching it and I havn't even had the surgery! Lost the 10% and see you can do it! Well the *%^$& ain't worked for 50' years but I guess sense you said it will ok???? You look GREAT! You can loose wieght they can't fix UGLY! Just know we are all be hind you.
