I received this e-mail today from Cylinda @ Baptist and thought I would post it for everyone, just in case you are in need of a support group!!! We have an exciting February Support group for you.  In appreciation to ALL who attend we have a special gift.  We have an exciting speaker lined up for you and are now meeting in our new office location (Suite 104 - Right across the hall from our old location).  Please do NOT forget to bring your clothes for the plus sized yard sale.   We will be collecting clothing items at every support group, patient appointment, and on a walk in basis.  We are excited about future support group activities and meetings.  We are honored to have ALL of you attending. February Support Group Days and Times Gatric By Pass - Februray 5th Lap Band - February 7th (not the 14th due to Valentines Day) Hope to see you there!! Shelia

Sheila,   Thanks for sharing Cylinda's email.   Do you know what time the Lap band support group meets??  5pm or 5:30pm?  I will be there either way, but just didn't want to be late. Sherry

I am pretty sure that the lapband one is tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. I called and that is what they told me at the office. I am not exactly sure where the meeting is as this is my first one to attend. I had planned to go last month and had a family emergency.....so if anyone can offer directions to the meeting room that would be great! I am pretty sure it is in the same building as the surgery center so I guess I could go in and look for Suite 104........

Is it an open meeting? I had surgery at Centennial but am interested in coming. Are outsiders welcome? I sure hope so.

The new office is right across the hall.  If you stand in the doorway with your back against the old door...you will see the elevators directly across the hall to the right and then just beside them on the left is the new office.  It is lovely! Actually, we had our meeting in the old office and just toured the new one. Have fun!  We had a great meeting! Freddie

Yes, Paul, it is an open meeting. All Baptist support groups are open to anyone researching, or in the pre or post-op stage from any hospital. The Bandsters will probably get to meet in the new facility. We had to meet in the old one because the doctors were having a meeting in the new one.
